SEASONAL WORKERS PROGRAM – IOM

FAMILI I REDI

Another very successful program Co-designed by World VisionIOM – UN Migration, and the Vanuatu Department of Labour with funding support from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and technical support from the Pacific Labour Facility

Seasonal workers need preparedness, planning, they face difficulties while abroad and do not always have the solutions to keep a good mental health while setting up constructive plans to keep families together. The workshop puts the future seasonal workers and their families in front of important questions that will rise while they, or a family member will be abroad.

From my side towards the facilitators, the idea was to give them the responsibility to choose from a set of graphic elements, hence the floating bubbles and empty speech spaces. Great to work with Scarlett Hawkins, Gender and Migration specialist for IOM, to fine tune the approach to communicate with the communities.
